On 19th December 2010 in "Adazi Concert hall" Ivars organises his Christmas concert. Famous Christmas songs from Elvis Presley, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra will be performed. Well known artists from Latvia are invited to this event - Anete Kotovicha, Raimonds Macats, Laimis Racenajs, Linita, Mirta, vocal quartet "Harmony 4 Riga" and string quartet lead by Raimonds Ozols.

On September 6th, 2008 in Jurmala concert hall „Dzintari”– Ivars Pçtersons is organizing concert „The Songs of Elvis”. There are performed popular and favourite melodies of the legendary rock’n’roll king Elviss Presley, whose creative biography includes many varied genres of music – from rock’n’roll and country, to blues and gospel. This divercity of genres is represented in the concert, where popular Latvian soloists are invited: Jolanta Gulbe, Laimis Racenajs, Zane Dombrovska, Valdis Indrisonoks, Mirta, Marija Naumova, Linita, opera singer Rudite Rusko and National Shymphonic Orchestra of Latvia quartet under the guidance of Raimonds Ozols. A couple of songs from the concert are included in CD and DVD.


Lake George 2007 – festival of Elviss’s counterparts.

In 2007 June, yearly festival of Elviss’s counterparts is taking place in Lake George, USA, where Ivars Petersons is invited as delegate from Latvia. Artists from all parts of world take part in the festival, most of them from USA and Canada, as in these countries Elviss is especially popular. The main event take place on the several stages around the town for 3 days. There is a parade of antic cars and of course the best counterpart of Elviss is chosen.

PETERSONS BAND concerts in Bad Gastein.



In 2007 spring time PETERSONS BAND is playing on tour in Alpine resort Bad Gastein in Austria. PETERSONS BAND is playing songs in music club "Ole" and entertaining foreign fans of winter sports in two tours. www.simader.lv

Elvis Presley Birthday party.

On January 8th 2005 there is held a rock’n roll party in honour of Elvis Presley 70th Birthday. The event takes place in club „Cetri balti krekli” and is organized by Ivars Petersons. It is the first event of this kind in Latvia, which gathers fans of rock’n roll and Elvis Presley music. Groups like „Keksi”, „Juke Box, „Petersons” and also rock’n roll singer from Moscow – Nikita Rylov performs during the evening.

Also in after years the tradition is continued and every year there is a party for Elvis Presley Birthday in one of the Riga’s clubs.

Festival MIRANDE 2004.

July 9-14, 2004 one of the biggest festival of Country Music in Europe MIRANDE 2004 is taking place in Gascony (South-West France). On the guest list there is also Ivars Petersons together with his band. Huge stage is built in the local football court where bands and famous musicians from all over the world - USA, Canada, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Latvia etc. are playing six evenings in a row. Famous artists like Bufallo.C.Wayne, Bill Wyman & Rhythm Kings, Albert Lee and others are performing. The band PETERSONS performs all six days with 1h concert programm.
